The Chartered Management Institution Accreditation in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice, has created a very exciting opportunity for learners because Organisational Development is now considered as a Leader’s accountability as it typically goes hand-inhand with Strategy, so it is best placed as the Leader and Managers’ responsibility, rather than only through HR or Learning and Development.
This affords all learners (regardless of their background in perhaps HR, Change or Projects), to now attain a Level 7 qualification in Leadership. And, for leaders, this qualification will extend their knowledge and practice in Organisational Design and Development, and how this informs organisational strategy.
