AI Enhancement:
AI analyses workload data, collaboration patterns, and skills distribution to recommend optimal structures, predict restructuring impacts, and identify efficiency opportunities.
In today's complex, fast-shifting environment, effective organisation design is about far more than structure — it's about creating clarity, alignment and adaptability across strategy, people, systems and processes. This programme helps Leaders, Managers, HR and OD professionals design organisations that can evolve with purpose and respond intelligently to disruption.
You'll explore how to align business models, operating models and capabilities to deliver sustained performance — balancing stability with flexibility. The session also considers the growing role of AI and digital integration in reshaping work, decision-making and process efficiency, highlighting how intelligent design enables technology to enhance, not replace, human contribution.
Through practical frameworks, diagnostic tools and real-world case examples, participants learn how to connect strategic intent to day-to-day execution — designing organisations that are both resilient and ready for what comes next.

Learn to align structure, digital workflows, business processes and resources with strategic objectives to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
Master practical tools, frameworks and models that drive clarity, consistency and measurable results in organisational design.
Translate strategy into operating models and role design that connect purpose, performance and people.
Apply OD principles to your own organisational challenges through diagnostics, simulations and case-based learning.
Use data and evidence to inform design choices, evaluate interventions and demonstrate measurable organisational improvement.
Understand how AI and digital tools are reshaping design, decision-making and process optimisation — and how to integrate them intelligently to enhance human contribution.

The interactive format of this Organisational Design for Today's World Training will enable participants to explore new knowledge and techniques through practical engagement.

This course is designed for professionals who want to master organisational design principles and lead structural transformation in their organisations.

In this two-day organisation design training programme, participants will work with a variety of case studies, tools, frameworks and models to learn the principles and application of Organisational Design.

This section establishes the foundations of effective organisation design by exploring what defines a well-organised organisation. Participants learn to distinguish between organisation development and organisation design, and to understand the core components that enable best practice — creating the clarity and coherence needed for strategic alignment and sustained performance.
Overview of the Organisation Design Model and Principles that underpin the Model
This section focuses on defining the strategic need for redesign — clarifying business requirements, identifying key roles and sponsorship, developing a robust business case, and determining whether a redesign or alternative intervention will deliver the greatest organisational value.
This section guides participants through the core stages of organisation design — from defining the design framework and engaging stakeholders in data-driven assessment and analysis, to applying complexity theory, identifying OD trends, and developing practical consultation and communication plans for implementation.
This section explores how to design an effective and efficient organisational structure — determining size, roles, and spans of control; aligning reward systems and people practices; managing risk; and creating high-level structural options, whilst integrating Business, AI & Digital processes to deliver on strategic goals.
This section explores how to plan and lead organisational change as a purposeful, human-centred journey. Participants examine the neuroscience of change to understand resistance and build engagement, while addressing the practical realities of implementing a new structure — from cultural alignment to leadership readiness. The focus is on leading transformation that connects people, process and purpose for lasting organisational impact.
This section highlights the value of ongoing review and evaluation in sustaining organisational effectiveness. Participants learn how to measure outcomes, assess alignment, and identify areas of tension within the design. Emphasis is placed on using evidence and feedback to refine structures, processes and culture — ensuring that organisational design remains dynamic, responsive and aligned with strategic intent.
Learners will have the opportunity to apply the learning to real-work case studies, as well as working through their organisation's organisation restructuring to identify how they would approach a restructuring in the future.
